Kenya makes up East Africa - together with Tanzania and Uganda. We are based right near Mombasa on what is known as the "North Coast" of Kenya.
You can fly to Mombasa with several charter flight companies direct to Mombasa from Gatwick or Manchester, or you can fly to Nairobi using a scheduled daily commercial airline such as Kenya Airways, Emirates, Virgin, KLM, Air France, KLM and British Airways; Connecting to Mombasa is a short 45min flight on Kenya Airways to Mombasa. There are at least 4 flights a day to and from Mombasa to Nairobi.
Our kitesurf and windsurf travel partners who are able to provide you with a total package to travel to Kenya providing your hotel, flight and kitesurfing or windsurfing with us. For those of you who are making or have made your own travel plans independently, you can simply book your activity with us online under our kitesurfing or windsurfing online calendar booking page.
The nearest airport to us is the Moi Mombasa International Airport.
Our centre is at Nyali Beach and only a 15 minute drive away from the Airport and Mombasa Town (hospitals, schools, shopping), also known as Mombasa Island. Taxis with fixed prices are always available at the airport taxi rank.
Flight time from UK is approx 8 hours. Visas are required but may be bought easily on arrival. This has been halved as of November 09 and so now is US $25 per person payable in cash. Please check for the latest info though (see the Kenya page for websites)
